Moussa Sissoko 'close to Newcastle United return'

Newcastle United could reportedly welcome Moussa Sissoko back into the fold against Arsenal on Monday following a hamstring injury.

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew could have Moussa Sissoko at his disposal for his side's clash against Arsenal on Monday evening.

Sissoko has been struggling with a hamstring injury that he suffered during Newcastle's 4-0 defeat to Southampton on March 29.

However, according to Chronicle Live, Pardew is hopeful that Sissoko will return to the side in a bid to end the Magpies' five-game losing run.

The North-East outfit are currently ninth in the Premier League table with three games left to play.
