Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has named Massadio Haidara, Sylvain Marveaux, Shola Ameobi to start against Metalist Kharkiv.

Haidara replaces Davide Santon, Marveaux comes in for Gabriel Obertan and Ameobi starts up top, with Papiss Cisse joining the attacking three behind him.

Jonas Gutierrez drops to the bench and Hatem Ben Arfa did not travel for the game.
