Newcastle United reportedly add Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos to their transfer list heading into the January market.

Newcastle United have added Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos to their transfer list, according to a report.

Eddie Howe will be hoping to bring in some fresh faces next month in order to put his own marker down on the team, and the Magpies have been linked with a variety of players in recent weeks.

According to Ekrem Konur, Newcastle have now added Morelos to their transfer list, as the club looks to bolster its squad in the upcoming market.

It is unknown whether or not the Gers would be willing to sell their talisman, but he is somebody that the Premier League outfit are at least considering.

Newcastle currently sit 19th in the table, and they have only scored 19 goals in as many games, which is something that Howe will be hoping to see increase during the second half of the campaign.

Meanwhile, the Colombian international has found the back of the net 12 times this season for Rangers in all competitions.

The Magpies will be back in action on Sunday when they face Southampton in the Premier League, where a victory could take them out of the relegation zone.
