Report: Wolverhampton Wanderers to snap up Newcastle United striker Sammy Ameobi

Wolverhampton Wanderers are looking to snap up Newcastle United striker Sammy Ameobi amid reports that he is not renewing his Magpies contract, according to reports.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are contemplating a move for Newcastle United striker Sammy Ameobi, according to reports.

The 23-year-old, who has scored two goals in 26 games for the relegation-threatened Magpies this season, is out of contract this summer and is said to be stalling on a new deal at St James' Park.

According to the Birmingham Mail, the Molineux outfit are looking to take him on as he is looking for regular first-team football to help his international chances with Nigeria.

Everton are also said to be interested in Ameobi, while Burnley are understood to have made him an offer of £14,000 per week.
