AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has said that he was pleased with his side's 3-2 win over Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday.
The defending champions have struggled on the road throughout this season, but were able to secure their fourth league win in a row thanks to goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alessandro Nesta.
"Today the team have a good response to everyone," the Milan boss told reporters. "We didn't suffer very much, although Roma's late goal kept the game in the balance to the end.
"When we had to soak up pressure, we stayed united and I really liked that approach.
"Zlatan Ibrahimovic was fantastic today and the same goes for Christian Abbiati, who made a very important save. It's just a shame we conceded on a corner and weren't decisive enough on the second."
Milan remain two points adrift of leaders Juventus, who defeated Inter 2-1 at the San Siro.
