Goalkeeper Iker Casillas has decided to sign a new 12-month contract with Porto.
During the current campaign, Casillas has spent time outside of the starting lineup and it resulted in the 36-year-old being linked with a switch to the Premier League.
However, after being restored to the team during the second half of the season, the legendary Spaniard has taken the opportunity to pen a one-year deal.
Casillas is quoted by Marca as saying: "I want to keep playing football and if Porto knock on my door, I'll welcome it with open arms."
The former Real Madrid man has made a total of 104 appearances for Porto since 2015, including 23 outings during the season which has just ended with his club winning the league title.
