Javier Pastore signs new Paris Saint-Germain deal

Javier Pastore signs a three-year contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain that will keep him at the French champions until 2019.

Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that Javier Pastore has signed a three-year contract extension with the club.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a successful season with the Parisian outfit, who were victorious in the French Cup final on Saturday evening to complete a domestic treble.

"I'm very happy. This has been the best year of my career," Pastore told PSG's official website. "This season was special because I played so much and I felt especially comfortable out on the pitch.

"I'm very proud of my season, and also of all my team-mates because without them, I couldn't achieve anything.

"I hope to keep winning titles here and to play a champions league final with this team, that's my main objective now."

Pastore has spent the past four years at PSG, following his move from Palermo in July 2011.
