A report claims that Paris Saint-Germain may move for Everton's Senegalese midfielder Idrissa Gueye.

Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing midfielder Idrissa Gueye from Everton, according to a report.

The 29-year-old has been at Goodison Park since joining from Aston Villa in 2016, making 79 Premier League appearances for the Toffees during that time.

Gueye has once again been used regularly in the top flight this term, starting 15 of his side's 17 matches, and the Senegal international is said to have caught the eye of PSG officials.

Sky Sports News suggests that Everton will strongly resist any interest from rival clubs next month, however, and they have no desire to cash in further down the line.

Ligue 1 champions PSG have also been linked with Southampton's Mario Lemina in recent days.
