Jose Mourinho: 'We can score many at Manchester United'

Jose Mourinho says that his team will score at Old Trafford in the second leg of their Champions League tie against Manchester United.

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has no doubts that his side can find the back of the net in the return leg of their Champions League tie against Manchester United.

The two sides were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday, when Danny Welbeck's opener was cancelled out by Cristiano Ronaldo in the first leg.

Despite United possessing a slight advantage due to the away goal going into the second leg, the former Chelsea boss is confident that his side will score at Old Trafford.

"I think the players gave everything," Mourinho told Sky Sports News. "Of course it was a difficult game. To be losing 1-0 is not easy situation. Now is our time to go to Old Trafford and I think 1-1 is not a bad result and we can score more than one goal there.

"There was nothing new, it was not a surprise. Not a surprise the match or the result. Basically it was what I was waiting for which was everything open for the second leg and I was thinking this could go to the last minute.

"We can score more goals. They had two big chances in second half but chances out of the context because we were chasing the game. This is the Champions League; it is two matches, home and away and I think they did their match well."

Old Trafford hosts the second leg on March 5.
