Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale is reportedly set to spend eight weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, meaning that he will not be available for selection until November.
The 32-year-old has been a regular for Los Blancos in the early stages of the 2021-22 campaign, scoring once in three La Liga appearances, with the Wales international in Carlo Ancelotti's plans at the Bernabeu.
Bale has missed his side's last two matches against Celta Vigo and Inter Milan, though, having suffered a tear in his right hamstring during a training session last weekend.
According to AS, the Welshman is facing eight weeks on the treatment table and will not be available for selection until November.
Bale's current deal at the Bernabeu is due to expire next June, and he is unlikely to sign an extension despite given a new lease of life at the club under new head coach Ancelotti.
The former Southampton youngster has scored 106 goals and registered 68 assists in 254 appearances for Los Blancos in all competitions since arriving from Tottenham Hotspur in September 2013.
