Jesus Vallejo will reportedly be promoted to the Real Madrid first-team squad for the 2017-18 campaign.
The 19-year-old joined Los Blancos from Real Zaragoza in 2015, but has not yet represented the Madrid giants after spending his short Bernabeu career out on loan.
As it stands, the Spain Under-21 international is on loan with Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany and it is understood that his performances have impressed Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane.
According to Marca, Real Madrid will not look outside for a replacement if experienced centre-back Pepe leaves the Bernabeu at the end of the season and will instead promote young Spaniard Vallejo to the first-team squad.
Vallejo signed a six-year contract upon his arrival in the summer of 2015.
