Paris Saint-Germain stars Neymar and Dani Alves reportedly urge the club to sign their international teammate Marcelo from Real Madrid.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly emerged as the new frontrunners to sign Real Madrid left-back Marcelo.

The Brazilian defender, who has been at the Bernabeu for 12 years, is believed to have been close to agreeing a deal with Juventus earlier this year.

Juve only intend to complete a deal for Marcelo if Alex Sandro departs, however, leaving the door ajar for PSG to pounce.

Don Balon claims that the French giants have been told by ex-Barca stars Neymar and Dani Alves to make a move for their international teammate.

Marcelo is being pushed towards the Bernabeu exit, having played second fiddle to Sergio Reguilon at times this campaign.

The same report indicates that Zinedine Zidane is looking to bring in another left-sided defender in time for next season.
