Real Madrid are reportedly close to agreeing a new contract with Cristiano Ronaldo, despite the Portuguese's unhappiness at the club.
The 27-year-old refused to celebrate his two goals in the 3-0 win over Granada last week and later claimed that he was not enjoying his time at the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, Madrid sports newspaper Marca reports that the former Manchester United man is close to agreeing a new deal that will revealed at the end of this season.
Under Spanish tax laws, Ronaldo's contribution will double to 52% within 18 months, but it is understood that Real are willing to offset this by the terms they will offer the forward.
Ronaldo signed for Real Madrid in 2009 for a world-record breaking £80m.
