Ronald Zubar joins New Red Bulls in triple signing

Former Wolves defender Ronald Zubar joins New York Red Bulls as part of a triple defensive signing.

New York Red Bulls have recruited former Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Ronald Zubar as part of a triple signing.

The 29-year-old joins the MLS outfit on undisclosed terms from Ligue 2 side Ajaccio, "pending a physical and approval of his P-1 Visa".

Ex-Chivas full-back Andrew Jean-Baptiste and Zubar's French compatriot Damien Perrinelle are also moving to America as the Red Bulls bolster their defence.

Zubar made 69 appearances for Wolves between 2009 and 2013.
