The 26-year-old, who has impressed for Roma since joining the Italian club from Arsenal in the summer, has been forced to sit out a number of training sessions with the Ivory Coast this week.
"I have a little hamstring pain. But it is nothing serious. I am just having a little rest," he told Il Tempo.
The former Lille forward has made 45 appearances for his country, scoring 13 times in the process.
