Though their struggles in Europe continue, Roma return to Serie A duty against Sampdoria on Monday aiming for a third straight league win.
While the hosts remain winless and rock-bottom of the standings, Jose Mourinho's men sat just four points off top spot following last week's ninth round, which brought them a 2-1 win over Lecce.

Roma have improved their record on the road this season - winning three of five Serie A away fixtures - and now encounter a home side lacking inspiration. Even in Dybala's absence, the visitors have several attacking options to turn to, so can take advantage of Samp's defensive deficiencies more than once.

Lecce vs. Fiorentina (Monday, 7.45pm)

In their second successive Monday night fixture, Fiorentina aim to make up lost ground in Serie A, as they visit struggling Lecce.
While, in midweek, the Viola completed back-to-back victories over Hearts in the Europa Conference League, they have won just two domestic games this term and none away from home; their hosts are yet to win at Stadio Via del Mare.
We say: Lecce 1-1 Fiorentina
Neither side have found the key to final-third fluency as yet, and both have generally coped well enough at the back. A tightly-contested encounter is therefore on the cards, with a low-scoring draw the most likely result.
