Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has admitted that he was "surprised" Sheffield Wednesday's Connor Wickham did not play against his side on Saturday.
Wickham missed the match through injury, which Bournemouth went on to win 2-1.
After the game, Howe told reporters: "I was surprised. We prepared for him because we thought he would play. It took away a goal threat from them [Wednesday]."
Howe was also pleased for Lewis Grabban, who scored what turned out to be the winner.
He said: "Lewis Grabban led the line really well today. He was a constant nuisance with his pace and his ability. I hope he can continue scoring."
Bournemouth moved up to 15th in the table after the win.
