Nabil Bentaleb vows to learn from FA Cup defeat

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Nabil Bentaleb vows to learn from Saturday's defeat to Arsenal in the third round of the FA Cup.

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Nabil Bentaleb has vowed to learn from Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Arsenal in the third round of the FA Cup.

The 19-year-old French defender made his fourth appearance of the season for Spurs as they were knocked out at the Emirates Stadium.

Despite the disappointing result, Bentaleb insists that the match was a good experience for his career.

"I could feel better, to be fair, because obviously we're not going through to the next round," he told the club's official website.

"But it's been a very good experience and I have to learn from it. I just have to take on what the coach says to me and continue to work hard and be ready.

"We lost the game from little mistakes – that's what cost us. We know we can beat the big teams. We just have to keep working hard in training and we'll get the results we all want."

Tottenham continue their Premier League campaign on Saturday when they welcome Crystal Palace to White Hart Lane.
