Tottenham Hotspur receive Harry Kane injury boost

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino reveals that the results of Harry Kane's scan are "much better" than first feared.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that the results of Harry Kane's scan on an ankle injury are "much better" than first feared.

The England international was stretchered off with ligament damage during Spurs' 1-0 victory over Sunderland on September 18.

It was reported that Kane was facing two months on the sidelines, but the official line from the club was that no timeline has been set for the striker's return.

Today, Pochettino gave an update on Kane's injury, telling reporters: "We got scan results a short while ago. It was much better than we thought. We're happy with it but we can't give a time."

Meanwhile, Tottenham are preparing for tomorrow's Champions League group match against CSKA Moscow in Russia.
