Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has hailed Hugo Lloris as one of the best goalkeepers in world football following his display in this afternoon's 3-1 win over Leicester City.
Lloris made a string of big saves - including denying Jamie Vardy from the penalty spot - to seal a fourth straight league win for Spurs as they kept their title hopes alive once again.
The France captain has been questioned at times this season, but Pochettino does not believe that there is any doubt about his quality.
"We are talking about one of the best keepers in the world. He has experience, he has played a lot of games here at Tottenham and I think he is showing his style," he told reporters at his post-match press conference.
"Today he was so important for the team to help to achieve the three points, and of course his quality cannot be doubted."
Davinson Sanchez, Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-min were on the scoresheet for Spurs as they moved to within five points of the league leaders.
