Moussa Sissoko has not been included in the squad for Tottenham Hotspur's pre-season tour of the United States.
Spurs confirmed on Wednesday on that the 27-year-old is suffering from a virus and will not travel, alongside injured trio Erik Lamela, Son Heung-min and Danny Rose.
Sissoko cast doubt over his future at Tottenham earlier this summer by describing last season as 'the worst of his career' following his £30m move from Newcastle United in 2016.

Both Rose and Lamela are expected to miss the start of the new Premier League season after undergoing surgery, while Son is still recovering following an operation on his fractured right forearm.
It has been reported that Spurs are willing to part-finance Sissoko's wages and accept a fee significantly lower than £30m in order to move him on this summer.
