Aston Villa will rival Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur for the signing of Burnley right-back Kieran Trippier, according to reports.
The 24-year-old impressed in his debut Premier League season and is widely expected to leave Turf Moor this summer.
Tottenham were believed to be in pole position to land his signature, but the Daily Mail reports that Villa have entered the race and hope that the lure of guaranteed first-team football will see him commit to the Midlands club.
Trippier reportedly has a £3.5m buy-out clause in his contract, which is well within Villa's price range.
The Englishman joined Burnley from Manchester City in 2012.
