Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose would reportedly prefer to secure a move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer, rather than make the switch to Schalke 04.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose has reportedly decided that he would like to make the loan switch to Paris Saint-Germain.

Rose is said to be one of three first-team players who have been made available for transfer this summer, and the England international has been linked with a move to Schalke 04.

However, according to The Sun, the 28-year-old would prefer to sign for PSG as they look to bring in a left-back before the end of the summer.

The Ligue 1 giants are in the market for a new player on that side of the defence, and a temporary deal for Rose would tick boxes for a club who still need to meet their obligations with FFP.

PSG have until the end of August to push through the signing, although Spurs may now reconsider their position having failed to bring in a replacement ahead of the new campaign.
