Experienced Belgian defender Jan Vertonghen has suggested that he will be leaving Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
The 33-year-old's previous deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was due to expire at the end of June, but he will finish the current season with Jose Mourinho's side.
Vertonghen has been strongly linked with a move away from Spurs ahead of next season, though, and the Belgium international has hinted that he will be leaving the club this summer.
"I can't say much, but things are moving," Vertonghen told Sporza. "Most teams are waiting for the season to end and until they're sure of TV money coming in.
"Timo Werner's transfer to Chelsea already proves that there is still enough money in the market. Once the ball starts rolling again, it'll all be fine."
Roma are thought to be the favourites for the versatile defender, although Inter Milan have also been credited with an interest in his services.
