Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Marcel Sabitzer this summer.
The 27-year-old has scored 50 goals and provided 41 assists over 220 appearances during his time playing for Leipzig.
With only one more year left on his contract, the Austria international could potentially be leaving the German side at the end of the season, after recently turning down an extension.
Football Insider reports that Sabitzer is firmly on Spurs' radar after contact had previously been made in January to sign him.
The central midfielder is believed to be one of Jose Mourinho's personal targets, indicating the Portuguese manager will be staying next season.
Mourinho has reportedly been impressed by Sabitzer's energy, physicality and technical ability - all traits Spurs believe will make him thrive in the Premier League if they manage to sign him.
