Tottenham Hotspur could reportedly lose Christian Eriksen for as little as £30m as the European transfer window enters its final week.
The Danish midfielder has expressed his interest in potentially leaving the North London club for a new challenge already this summer and now both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are considering potential last-minute moves.
While Spurs put a £130m price tag on the former Ajax midfielder back in May, Eriksen is now into the final year of his contract with the club and they are believed to be considering selling him now rather than losing him for nothing next summer.
The Daily Star reports that while Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy intends to hold out for £50m for the 27-year-old, that figure could drop to £30m if the Spanish clubs make approaches closer to the deadline on September 2.
Eriksen is reportedly third on Real Madrid's wishlist behind Neymar and Paul Pogba, with city rivals Atletico believed to waiting in the wings to raid Spurs for a second time this summer after they bought Kieran Trippier back in July.
The Dane came off the bench in the North London club's 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United yesterday afternoon.
