Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want a fee of £25m to part ways with Toby Alderweireld this summer.
The Belgium international is believed to have informed the Lilywhites of his desire to leave the club, and a return to former club Ajax has been mooted.
With Spurs being linked with the likes of Jules Kounde and Joachim Andersen in a bid to bolster their rearguard, Alderweireld's exit is expected to be sanctioned for the right price.
However, The Sun claims that Tottenham will still demand a fee of £25m for the centre-back, who is not due to become a free agent until the end of the 2022-23 season.
Royal Antwerp, Club Brugge, PSV Eindhoven have all been tipped to move for Alderweireld should he become available, but the Belgian sides may be priced out of a move unless Spurs lower their demands.
The 32-year-old has made 236 appearances for Tottenham in all competitions and played the full 90 minutes as Belgium suffered Euro 2020 heartache in the quarter-finals against Italy, who won 2-1 on Friday night.
