Mark Hughes: 'Bojan Krkic can become a Stoke City hero'

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes hails striker Bojan Krkic and believes that he can be a club legend.

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has said that Bojan Krkic can become one of the club's best ever players.

The Spaniard has impressed since his surprise move from Barcelona last summer, and Hughes thinks that his attractive style of play is a big hit with the fans.

"When you make your mark and affect people by what you do, and achieve things they haven't done before, then you are remembered," Hughes is quoted as saying in The Sentinel.

"There's a lot of players who will be rich young men, but make no mark in the game."

The player has become a firm favourite with Potters fans, and that was shown when the 24-year-old celebrated with the supporters after he scored the winning goal at Leicester City last week.

Hughes said: "You saw the reaction after his goal. It's great he can walk over and enjoy the moment."

Bojan has scored four goals in 17 appearances this season.
