Swansea City midfielder Jonathan de Guzman has admitted that he would like to earn a call-up to the Dutch national team.
The 25-year-old found the net twice during Swansea's 3-1 win over Stoke City earlier today in front of Netherlands assistant coach Danny Blind, who was believed to have been checking on the progress of him and goalkeeper Michel Vorm.
Having learnt of Blind's presence, De Guzman confessed that it would be a "huge achievement" if he was to be recognised at senior international level.
"Obviously we have a few Dutch players here, and it was great knowing [Blind] was here," De Guzman told the club's official website. "I'm just trying my best to contribute to the team here and hopefully things will go my way.
"It would be a huge achievement for me to be called up. It would be confirmation I'm doing well."
De Guzman is currently on loan at the Liberty Stadium from Spanish side Villarreal.
