Swansea City are reportedly keen for Louis van Gaal to replace Paul Clement as manager.
The Welsh outfit announced the departure of the 45-year-old on Wednesday night following a run of just one win in 10 Premier League games.
As it stands, the Swans sit at the bottom of the table, four points from safety after winning just three of their 18 top-flight fixtures.
According to The Mirror, the club have already sounded out Van Gaal as a potential replacement and may feel encouraged by his recent claims that he would consider returning to management.
The Dutchman has been out of work since getting sacked by Manchester United in 2016, not long after guiding the team to FA Cup glory.
Swansea are believed to be keen to hire a manager with Premier League experience.
