Team GB and Birmingham City goalkeeper Jack Butland has expressed his delight in representing Great Britain in the start of the men's Olympic football tournament last night.
Stuart Pearce's side recorded a 1-1 draw with Senegal at Old Trafford in their opening fixture.
"I loved it, nervy start, obviously it's the biggest crowd I've played in front of but at some point I'm going to have to play in front of a big crowd," said Butland.
"I've really enjoyed it, it's been one of my dreams. Unfortunately we didn't get the result we wanted but we've got a point on the board and we can build from that."
The 19-year-old is expected to keep his spot for Team GB's next clash against the United Arab Emirates at Wembley on Sunday.
