Antonio Di Natale's landmark goal denies Pescara

Udinese edge struggling Pescara this afternoon, thanks to Antonio Di Natale's 150th goal in Serie A.

The 150th goal of Antonio Di Natale's Serie A career proved enough to earn Udinese a 1-0 win at lowly Pescara this afternoon.

Di Natale had not scored since mid-January but found the target from close range with an instinctive finish after eight minutes.

Luis Muriel showed a neat turn of the pace to create the chance and proved a thorn in Pescara's side all afternoon.

The home team controlled possession in the second half but were unable to create any clear-cut opportunities to score the equaliser.

Francesco Guidolin's side showed defensive strength in the closing stages to secure the three points that keep them in contention for Europa League qualification.
