Munir El Haddadi has said he is confident that Valencia can secure a top-four finish in La Liga this season, despite the club sitting bottom of the Spanish top flight after two matches of the new campaign.
The 21-year-old will spend the 2016-17 season with Los Che after completing a loan move from Barcelona in the latter stages of the summer transfer window.
In addition to having his say on Valencia's targets this term, the forward revealed that he turned down interest from Celta Vigo to make the move to the Mestalla.
"The target this season is the Champions League and I believe we can do it," Munir told reporters.
"Celta were interested in me but I told them that I would be joining Valencia - as soon as I knew of their interest I wanted to come here. I have come here to score goals and I have no doubt this will be a successful season for us."
Munir, who scored eight times in 26 appearances for Barcelona last season, will return to Camp Nou following the completion of the loan, according to the Catalan club's director Albert Soler.
