Leo Suarez agrees deal to join Villarreal from Boca Juniors

Villarreal announce that they have agreed to sign 18-year-old Leo Suarez from Boca Juniors on a five-year deal.

Villarreal have announced that an agreement has been reached with Boca Juniors for the transfer of midfielder Leo Suarez.

The 18-year-old will put pen to paper on a five-year contract at the La Liga outfit once he has completed a medical.

A statement on the club's official website read: "Pending a medical, Villarreal CF and Club Atletico Boca Juniors have reached an agreement for the transfer of Leonardo Gabriel Suarez, who has signed a contract until June 30, 2020.

"The promising youngster in Argentinian football will play at the South American tournament with Argentina's Under-20 side from January 14 until February 7, 2015, in Uruguay, before joining our Villarreal B side."

The teenager was previously linked with a move to Valencia.
