Wales boss Chris Coleman has insisted that Gareth Bale will be able to handle any extra attention from Israel during their Euro 2016 qualifier on Saturday night.
The impact of the Real Madrid winger could prove pivotal if Wales are to qualify for the finals in France in 2016, but Coleman has backed his star player to cope should he be targeted in Haifa.
The 44-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "Israel have got to do what they've got to do to get a result.
"If that's the way they go, it's nothing new for him. He's played most of his football in the Premier League, and the Premier League is the most physical league in the world.
"I've watched him out in Spain in the derbies against Atletico Madrid and tougher games you don't get. He's come through all that."
Wales go into the game one point adrift of Israel, who currently top Group B.
