Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has described helping the club to reach the Premier League this season as the "perfect challenge".
The Brazilian shot-stopper joined the Hornets on a free transfer earlier this summer following six years at Tottenham Hotspur.
Gomes, 33, is now eager to do all that he can to assist his new club in gaining promotion from the Championship during the upcoming campaign.
"I have been in England for six years now, my family are very settled here and trying to help Watford reach the Premier League is a perfect challenge," he told The Mirror.
"It is an ambition of mine to play in the Premier League again – not just to play against Tottenham, but it would be great to go back to White Hart Lane because the supporters were fantastic to me there."
Watford start the new Championship season this afternoon when they host Bolton Wanderers.
