Slaven Bilic: 'Stop talking about Reece Oxford'

Slaven Bilic asks everyone to stop talking about Reece Oxford as he prepares for West Ham United's match against Leicester City this weekend.

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has urged everyone to stop talking about Reece Oxford and let the team focus on their game against Leicester City this weekend.

The 16-year-old put on an impressive display during his debut against Arsenal last weekend, as the East London club beat the Gunners 2-0 at the Emirates.

"It would be best for everybody to stop talking about Reece Oxford," the Croatian manager told Sky Sports News.

"For him, definitely, and also for us at the football club to concentrate not just on Oxford, but on all the players. We have a game on Saturday, a big game for us, that he is going to be involved in.

"I spoke about him after the Arsenal game, then Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. We are talking about Oxford and it's not good for me and it's not good for him. I have no problem doing it but it's no good for the game on Saturday."

Oxford became West Ham's youngest first-team player in the club's history when he played against FC Lusitanos in the club's Europa League qualifier earlier this summer.
