Alex Song "feeling very good" at West Ham United

Loan midfielder Alex Song says that he is extremely happy to be playing his football for West Ham United.

Alex Song has revealed that he is "feeling very good" at West Ham United.

The Cameroon international joined the Hammers from Barcelona on a season-long loan deal last month.

He made his home debut in yesterday evening's 3-1 win over Liverpool and when asked after that match about his happiness at being with the East Londoners, the 27-year-old told the club's official website: "I'm feeling very good and I'm very happy to be here. The fans and my teammates have been great.

"I played 60 minutes on Saturday and that was good for me. I need a couple of games to get up to 100% and then I'll be able to help the team like I did on Saturday."

Song joined Barcelona from Arsenal for £15m in the summer of 2012.
