West Ham United are reportedly readying a bid to sign Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph.
The 24-year-old joined the Villains in 2009 for £8m in a move from Leeds United, but struggled to make an immediate impact at the club.
However, the midfielder became a key player at Villa Park last season under Paul Lambert and those performances caught the attention of Hammers boss Sam Allardyce, who is prepared to launch a £5m offer for Delph, reports The Mirror.
Delph made 30 appearances in the Premier League in the last campaign, scoring three goals.
