West Ham United and Leicester City are reportedly among a number of Premier League clubs that are interested in signing Tete, who is currently on loan at Lyon from Shakhtar Donetsk.
The 22-year-old registered 31 goals and 15 assists in 108 appearances for Shakhtar before joining Lyon on loan in March of this year.
Tete has continued to perform in France with his 22 games for Lyon yielding seven goals and eight assists, and his performances have led to links of a move to the Premier League.
According to The Sun, West Ham and Leicester are among those that are keeping tabs on the Brazilian, who is under contract with Shakhtar until December 2023.
The Foxes as well as Brentford and Southampton were believed to be exploring the possibility of completing a transfer, although the Saints have since turned their attention to recruiting a striker.
With the likes of West Ham and Leicester monitoring Tete's progress, the winger would be open to a move in January.
