Defender Matt Doherty praises the trio of Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota and Leo Bonatini after their excellent starts to life in English football.

Defender Matt Doherty has revealed that there are "no egos" in the Wolverhampton Wanderers dressing room after the club brought in several high-profile signings in the summer.

Wolves currently sit at the top of the Championship standings and while the West Midlands outfit have a strong squad, Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota and Leo Bonatini have stood out in midfield and attack.

Doherty has praised all three players, while saying that the trio have all played their part in the team spirit which has been generated at Molineux.

The 25-year-old told Sky Sports News: "Jota is an unbelievable player. Neves has a range of passing which is probably the best I've ever played with and Bonatini is a really elegant striker and a silky finisher.

"They've all hit the ground running and there are no egos or big-time boys."

Wolves can move seven points clear of second-placed Cardiff City with victory at Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night.
