Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Stale Solbakken says that the club are still suffering from a "hangover" following last season's relegation to the Championship.

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Stale Solbakken has admitted that the club are still suffering from a "hangover" following last season's relegation.

Since the Black Country side finished rock-bottom of the Premier League in May, Steven Fletcher, Matt Jarvis and Christophe Berra have all requested transfers.

"Everything's a little unsettled," explained Solbakken. "It would be stupid to say everything is fine because it's not.

"There's a hangover after three years in the Premier League. It's a mentally tough situation to then go back to the Championship."

Wolves begin their Football League campaign with a trip to Leeds United on Saturday.
