Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly made moves to sign Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam.
It has been claimed that the Scottish midfielder has grown frustrated with life at the Britannia Stadium, having completed 90 minutes just five times in the Premier League this season.
The 30-year-old's supposed unhappiness has captured the attention of the two Championship clubs, both of whom are eyeing a loan deal, according to The Express.
The report adds that Wolves and Brighton had initially hoped to secure Adam's services on a permanent basis, but neither could match his wage demands.
Adam, who arrived in the Potteries from Liverpool in 2012, is contracted to Stoke until 2017.
