Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson is confident that Simon Gillett's future with the club will be resolved soon.
The 28-year-old's proposed move to Huish Park looked to have collapsed after he returned home last week.
However, the former Nottingham Forest midfielder returned to the Glovers for their pre-season victory over Truro City on Saturday.
"I'm pleased that we had Simon Gillett back for the moment and we will see what happens with him during the early part of the week," Johnson told the Western Gazette.
Gillett is a free agent after being released by Forest at the end of last season.
