St Helens have eased their injury problems in the full-back position by signing Adam Quinlan from Parramatta Eels.
Six players have been sidelined while occupying the full-back role for the team this season.
Mark Percival was the latest name to suffer an injury during Sunday's victory over Widnes Vikings in the Challenge Cup quarter-finals.
Quinlan, 22, will join the Super League club as soon as he receives his visa.
"We're lucky enough to get the signature of Adam Quinlan, who is the back-up full-back at Parramatta," coach Keiron Cunningham told Super League TV. "He's a good full-back and is an ex-half-back so he understands the game. He's a real exciting player."
St Helens are back in action on Friday when they make the trip to Leeds Rhinos in the league.
