The ARU confirms that Digby Ioane will report to police today after he failed to turn up to a court hearing.

The Australian Rugby Union has announced that Digby Ioane will report to police after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The 27-year-old failed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Monday in relation to an alleged assault case.

The ARU said in a statement: "Since being made aware through media reports, ARU has worked expeditiously with Digby Ioane and Victorian Police to attend to this matter. Digby will report to Victorian Police and will be issued with a revised court date."

Loane played a part in Australia's 23-21 defeat to the British and Irish Lions on Saturday.
