British and Irish Lions prop Cian Healy has been cited for an alleged bite on Western Force scrum-half Brett Sheehan.

Healy is expected to go before a disciplinary panel within the next 24 hours.

The incident is thought to have taken place during the first half of the Lions' 69-17 victory in Perth on Wednesday.

Ireland international Healy was later stretchered off with a serious ankle injury.

Lions coach Warren Gatland has since confirmed that the forward did not suffer a break as first feared.
