Cian Healy cleared of broken ankle

British and Irish Lions boss Warren Gatland confirms that prop Cian Healy has not broken his ankle.

British and Irish Lions boss Warren Gatland has confirmed that prop Cian Healy has not broken his ankle.

The Irishman was stretched off during the 69-17 win over Western Force on Wednesday, where it had been feared that he had suffered a serious ankle injury.

However, Gatland, speaking to reporters at a press conference, revealed: "It isn't broken, but I think it is ligament damage. So we will have to wait and see what happens from there."

Healy is on his first tour with the Lions.
