Chris Robshaw demands England focus against Ireland

Chris Robshaw believes that England will need to be at their best if they want to beat Ireland in the Six Nations after a sloppy start tainted their win over Italy.

England captain Chris Robshaw has urged his teammates to be fully focused for their upcoming trip to Ireland in the Six Nations.

The English kept up their winning start in the competition on Saturday with a 47-17 win over Italy at Twickenham.

They return to action on March 1 when they travel to Dublin to face the defending champions, who have also won their opening two matches.

After a sluggish start against the Italians, Robshaw believes that England will need to be at the top of their game from the first whistle if they want to beat Ireland.

"We need to be right on the button mentally for Ireland. They're an extremely good side who have an extremely smart coach in Joe Schmidt. He generally finds weaknesses somewhere," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"It's about making sure we're clued up, that everyone does their job as well as possible when we get there. And the details need to be spot on because we need to try and find their weaknesses as well."

England earned a 13-10 win over Ireland during last season's tournament, but that failed to stop the Irish from going on to clinch the trophy.
