Harlequins have moved top of the Aviva Premiership table with a 26-13 win over Northampton at the Stoop.
The hosts went ahead after four minutes courtesy of a Nick Evans penalty.
Evans extended Harlequins' lead with another penalty, but Saints scored the first try of the game to edge in front, Greg Tonks powering through to touch down.
Former All Black Evans' excellent form with boot continued as he hit another two penalties to put his side back in front and give them a 12-7 half-time lead.
Quins earned their first try of the match when Joe Gray went down under the posts, with Evans making no mistake with the conversion.
Former England wing Ugo Monye stretched the home side's advantage when he touched down.
Further penalties for Stephen Myler and Ryan Lamb cut the deficit, but Quins managed to hold on to secure their place at the top of the league.
